Snapchat- the smartest way to share a moment was founded in 2011 by all Stanford University students Evan Spiegel, Reggie Brown, and Bobby Murphy. According to reports, Brown came up with the idea of a social media application that allows users to post photos and videos that disappear from the site after a few moments.

Snapchat was originally focused on personal, in-person sharing, but you can now use it for a variety of tasks, such as sending short videos, live video chats, messaging, creating bitmoji avatars like caricatures, and chronological sharing. Broadcast to followers easily.

Snap Messages do Disappear on  Snapchat?

While this means that Snapchat does not intentionally retain private message data for longer than necessary, it does mean that videos and photos sent from your smartphone can be stored on the Snapchat server for up to a month. Mostly liked your snap is particularly interesting or newsworthy, you can send it to as stories like mini-documentaries of events, holidays, game championships, or anything else that happens on a given day. It’s great to add your story as a Snapchat story, it’s very public. The easiest is to tap + My Story at the top of the Stores tab. You can view your current stories on your profile. When you post a story, your friends will see it appear in their stories section. You’ll also be able to see who viewed your story. Kids users should think carefully before making any submissions.

How To Get a Snapcode?

Learn how to scan snapcodes, share them with friends and create custom snapcodes too! To use the feature, open “Settings” and select “Snapcodes”, then “Create Snapcode”. Enter the URL, add an image from the website or your phone, resize it so that it fits inside the Snapchat Ghost logo and then you can save it for use anywhere. For teens due to their age, they missed some adult features of Snap chat. It’s a piece of great news for parents those who are very much careful about their children.

Snapchat is more than a cute photo. The more apps you use, the more points you get and the higher your Snapchat score. Snapchat awards to the top scorer, including trophies and other parks. Here are some more Snapchat features:

Is Snapchat Safe For Tweens and Teens?

The concept of invisible messages – During the beginning it was labeled as a “sexting app” because people sent intimate pictures that they thought were self-destructive. Any app can be misused, but many kids mistakenly believe that Snapchat has a built-in gate of the jail-free card. Adolescents need to understand that their shared content can be saved and shared and can never go away. This conversation is best before they download Snapchat but it is never too late. Talk about whether a friend of theirs pressured them to send a sexy image and discuss why anyone who does it is not in your best interest. Children should also be allowed to share pictures with others.

Suck time- Snapchat is a fun tone to use and a lot to discover. Snapstrikes and stories add a time-stress element that makes kids feel like they need to check-in.
