Railway Recruitment Board has increased the number of vacancies for a particular category in the NTPC category. In this regard, RRB has also issued a notice in which according to the information given under the Central Employment Notification No. 01/2019, the number of seats for a particular category has been increased for NTPC i.e. Non-Technical Popular Categories. RRB has added 89 more vacancies to the total vacancies earmarked for ex-servicemen and the PWBD category for the NTPC category.
In this way, the recruitment which was earlier for 35208 posts will now be for 35281 posts. Along with this, the post of Good Guard has been removed from the PWBD category. It has been said in the notice that this post is not suitable for this category.

The vacancies of Ex-Servicemen have been revised up to 10 percent of the total vacancies as per the existing provisions for all states. That is, there has been an increase of ten percent in the total number.
What is written in the notice –
RRB NTPC Vacancy 2022 in the notice issued in this regard, mainly two things have been said. The first is that 10 percent of the total vacancies of ex-servicemen have been revised based on the existing provisions. Secondly, the post of Goods Guard (Cat.No.3) which comes under Level 5 is being removed considering it is not suitable for PWBD candidates. LD posts notified for RRB/J&B are declared as NIL.
